How to make water based acrylic emulsion/ latex paints/coatings?
The production process of water-based acrylic emulsion/latex paints/coatings is the process of putting various components of raw materials in a certain order and dispersing them evenly.
The general production process of water based acrylic emulsion/latex paints/coatings includes 3 steps:
1. Preparation of slurry:
Put water, dispersant, defoamer, antiseptic and other liquid materials into the stainless steel dispersion tank and stir evenly. Put the coloring pigments and extender pigments in sequence under stirring, and accelerate the dispersion for 20-40 minutes.
2. Preparation of water-based paint:
Put the emulsion in the paint mixing tank, then add the thickener, PH adjuster, antifreeze, film-forming auxiliary, defoamer and other auxiliary agents, and stir for about 15 minutes until it is completely uniform. Check out the material.
3. Paint filtration and product packaging:
In the production process of latex paint, because a small part of the pigments and fillers are not dispersed, or because they are broken into particles, or impurities are left in the paint, the paint at this time needs to be filtered to remove coarse Particles and impurities can only produce good quality products. According to different product requirements, different specifications of screens and different container packaging can be selected and measured, so that the final product can be obtained.
