What is silicone sealant?
1. Silicone sealant is a paste made of polydimethylsiloxane as the main raw material, supplemented by cross-linking agent, filler, plasticizer, coupling agent, and catalyst mixed in a vacuum state. It reacts with water in the air at room temperature and solidifies to form elastic silicone rubber. Silicone glass glue is a kind of silicone product.
2. Silicone glass glue can be divided into two categories based on product packaging: single component and two-component.
3. The curing principles of the two are different:
Single-component silicone glue is cured by contact with moisture in the air to produce changes in physical properties; two-component refers to silicone glue divided into two groups, A and B. Any one group alone cannot form a solidification, but the two groups of glue will solidify once mixed.
1. Raw materials:
Component A: polymer 107, plasticizer (silicone oil, modified silicone oil, etc.), filler (gas-phase nano calcium carbonate, heavy calcium carbonate), etc.
Component B: dimethyl silicone oil, color powder (carbon black), crosslinking agent (ethyl orthosilicate), silane coupling agent, organic tin catalyst, etc.
2. Production process:
Component A: mixing, dehydration, vacuuming, cooling, grinding, packaging
Component B: mixing, dehydration, vacuuming, cooling, grinding, packaging.
3. Production equipment: mixer 600L, press, three-roller machine, vacuum pump, etc.
