How to make lubricant grease?
Taking lithium-based grease as an example, briefly introduce the production process of lithium-based grease:
Lithium grease is a kind of grease using lithium soap as thickener.
1)Thickener is a compound that can thicken lubricating oil into a viscous ointment.
2)Lithium soap is a compound formed by the combination of lithium hydroxide and fatty acid. This compound is mixed with the base oil to form a lithium-based grease.
3)Therefore, in order to produce lithium-based grease, lithium soap must first be prepared. After the lithium soap is made, it will be mixed with base oil to form a lithium-based grease.
4)The specific lithium-based grease production process can be roughly divided into the following steps: soap making → fast cooling → blending → homogenization → degassing → finished product packaging.
Lubricant grease kettle reactor is the main machinery for making grease (lithium grease,calcium grease,complex lithium grease,polyurea grease,etc).
It can be designed for room pressure usage or high pressure usage, it is up to user's production demands.
The metal thickener is made in the first heating reactor, and then it will be pumped to the cooling tank to become grease.
After shear and high pressure homogenizer processing,at last grease will enter the degassing tank to reduce the bubble inside grease.
At last,with grease filling machine to finish one batch of production.
The grease kettle reactor could be carbon steel or stainless steel.
The grease ketttle reactor could be open type structure or closed type structure.
Its agitator could be planetary type agitator or dual direction agitator or 3 groups of agitator.
Its common model is 500L,1000L,1600L,2500L,4000L,6000L,7000L,etc.
