The inner scraper filter is to discharge the liquid smaller than the fineness requirement from the screen, and keep the colloidal impurity particles larger than the fineness requirement inside the screen, and scrape the impurities through the rotary motion of the scraper.
In actual use cases, take acrylic emulsion as an example.
The emulsion enters the filter through the feed port. During the filtration process, impurities larger than the fineness of the screen are kept on the stainless steel filter sieve. As time goes by, the quantity of impurities is increasing.In this case,we need to clean the impurity and discharge them outside.
(1) Automatic cleaning: The user sets the filtering time by himself through accumulated experience. When the filtering time reaches the set value, automatic cleaning will be started. The specific process: the control system gives a signal, the motor starts to drive the shaft to rotate, and the scraper on the shaft will Scrape off the accumulated impurities on the filter until the cleaning time reaches the set value and the motor stops working. The blowdown valve opens to start blowdown.
(2) Manual cleaning: The motor runs continuously to drive the stirring shaft to rotate, and the scraper continuously removes impurities on the filter screen. When the time setting value is reached, the sewage valve opens to start sewage discharge.
(3) Pressure difference cleaning: (non-standard configuration, optional choice): The working principle is that when the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet reaches the set value, the motor starts to work to drive the scraper to scrape off the impurities accumulated on the filter screen , after reaching the set value of cleaning time, the motor stops working.
